(Alabama)
I am 7 1/2 mo pregnant. 40 years old. I am working at **employer name deleted** (mostly a clothing store). I have been employed approx 1 year.
My feet and back hurt me very much when I work (5 days a week 6 hours a day now)
I would like to quit and collect unemployment until I can get a job teaching (I have a masters in Education).
Will I be successful?
We cannot afford to have no income from me…I cannot quit unless I am reasonably certain I will get unemployment.
Thank-you!!

As you stated your situation, I believe that if it were me needing to quit I would think it would be without good cause to collect unemployment.
Primarily because there was no mention of a doctor advising you to not work, nor did you mention the potential effort that could preserve you job (whether in your field, or not) of only needing a medical leave of absence via FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act), or a request for a personal LOA citing medical reason if the employer does not have to comply with FMLA requirments.
