I HAVE BEEN WORKING AT MY COMPANY FOR 2 AND HALF YEARS.
I HAVE NOT BEEN GIVING MY EMPLOYERS ANY TROUBLE, HOWEVER, I TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER OFFICE CLOSER TO HOME AND THE PROBLEM IS THAT I REQUEST THEY SEND ME HELP FOR THE BUSY OFFICE, THEY GIVE ME THE RUN AROUND AND REFUSE TO LISTEN TO ANYTHING I ASK OR SAY. I WORK WITH TWO PEOPLE WHO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE FACT THAT THERE IS NO SUPERVISOR AND SLACK OFF. I HAVE TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO TALK TO MY MANAGER BUT HE JUST REFUSES TO LISTEN AND IT MAKES ME UPSET. I AM EXTREMELY OVER WORKED, AND I HAD A NERVOUS BREAK DOWN SEVERAL TIMES AT WORK. I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO BECAUSE I FEEL STUCK. I CAN’T FIND WORK ELSE WHERE AND I FEEL THAT MY ONLY OPTION IS TO RESIGN, BUT I HAVE A CHILDREN WHO I TAKE CARE OF. SO I JUST WANT TO KNOW THAT IF I RESIGN WILL I BE ABLE TO COLLECT?
THANK YOU.
Hi Angela,
Before you quit, I suggest you take a look at how New York may decide whether you will be able to get unemployment for quitting.
Here is the link to New York’s Voluntary Quitting interpretation index. http://www.labor.state.ny.us/ui/aso/Section_1600.htm
As you stated your objections .. I’m not feeling it because you’re to scattered. I think you should pay close attention to the information under 1650
