(CA, USA)
I signed a contract before getting hired in CA re a probation period which was for 2 weeks. I was let go when the probation period had ended because he did not think I was efficient enough for the position. Can I get unemployment?
Hi Anonymous,
I don’t have much doubt that you would get unemployment for being let go for inefficiency after two weeks on the job, but you first must qualify monetarily and because unemployment is based on wages earned in a base period, there may be other job separations that could be of concern.
