Her car is broke down and its going to cost her a lot to fix it, she has been borrowing someone else’s car for a month now and they have to have it back by May. She has no other way of transportation. She is also pregnant and where she works her clients have been dropping her hours less than 20 hours a week because she is pregnant.
Hi Anonymous,
It’s doubtful quitting due to lack of transportation is with good cause in Ohio. See http://www.supremecourt.ohio.gov/rod/docs/pdf/11/2004/2004-Ohio-6956.pdf
But good cause is determined on each unique circumstances.
I’d rather hear about the reduction in hours due to pregnancy. If an employer is reducing hours because someone is pregnant .. that’s something to talk about. My only concern is you used the term “clients”.
