Face it, Florida unemployment has never been as easy to get benefits in as .. let’s say just about any other state with no real department of labor.
So of course, Florida unemployment questions were very common here on UnemploymentTips during the early years of a recession that hasn’t yet really ended .. if you’re still looking for a job in Florida.
But, if the choice of a word can disclose a hidden meaning .. or attitude, when FLUID (Florida Unemployment Insurance Department) became the AWI (Agency for Workforce Innovation) and was then once again renamed for public use, RAP, (Reemployment Assistance Program) it became clear what the attitude was behind all the changes.
