I WAS DRAWING UNEMPLOYMENT FROM MY ORIGINAL EMPLOYER. SEARCHING FOR WORK, I OBTAINED AN ADDITIONAL JOB. I LASTED ONLY 3.5 DAYS BEFORE BEING DISMISSED, (FIRED) BECAUSE I LACKED THE PHYSICAL ABILITY THAT THE JOB DEMANDED. ( I AM 51 YEARS OLD). STILL BEING EMPLOYED BY MY ORIGINAL EMPLOYER, UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS ARE BEING REFUSED UNTIL A REVIEW (ON IF I STILL COULD OBTAIN THEM.) (ALSO, IT WAS THE BEGINNING OF MY FIRST EXTENSION). DO I STILL DRAW FROM MY ORIGINAL EMPLOYER OR AM I GOING TO LOOSE ALL BENEFITS???
Hi Dave,
That’s what they do .. review.
They want to make sure you are still able and available for work and that this 3.5 day job did not end due to any fault of yours. That’s my guess.
When is your benefit year up?
