Is it possible to maintain unemployment if you are not in the state that is issueing the benefits? For instance, if you are on unemployment and need to leave the state for a short period is there a way to continue receiving benefits and not have them interrupted? I know they can be paused and resumed/renewed for several reasons.
Thanks,
JZ
Hi JZ,
It depends on why you will be out of the state. It could potentially create an issue of whether you were Able and Available for work.
