My job requires 30 day notice for resignation, if I submit the required notice and then is terminated immediately can I collect unemployment for at least the time the notice was required.

That’s usually how it works. You should at least be eligible right up to the date of your resignation letter but waiting weeks still must be served .. so you could subtract a week of benefits for that.
That’s why employers are told they should pay you through the notice if they do decide to make you leave right after giving notice. Then it’s no harm, no foul.
